The Savannah Bananas Just Embarrassed The Cardinals

The Cardinals have had the worst start to a second half of the season that you could have. Not only has the manager come out and said that management and ownership are forcing him to trot out terrible starters, they also continue to lose on the road in Arizona. Unfortunately for the redbirds, noy many people noticed. Cardinals fans were too busy selling out Busch Stadium.     This weekend the Savannah Bananas were in town and they put on a show. The Harlem Globetrotters of baseball brought out Cardinals legends Adam Wainwright, Lance Lynn, and Jason  Isringhausen. Everyone seemed to have a great weekend, everyone except Cards ownership. They just got embarrassed.     The Cards ownership, the same ownership that for years has refused to spend money in free agency while at the same time telling fans to be quiet and watch, are watching another season fall apart. The manager has called them out in interviews due to them forcing him to continue t...

Fantasy Football Sleepers No One Is Talking About

Every year, there are multiple fantasy sleepers that I catch that no one is talked about before the season. Off the top of my head, I called Bo Nix, Ladd McConkey, and Tyrone Tracy to name a few. My strategy is actually pretty easy, but for some reason no one does it. Every year their is certain starters that everyone just forgets about because of things the starter can't control. For example, a workhorse RB with a bad offensive line or a a WR with uncertainty in the QB department. Everyone always looks past these people because it may not look like good football on TV, but they still put up points. Here is my list of fantasy football sleepers that no one is talking about so far. Quarterbacks   Bo Nix Nix is on my list yet again. People watch his games because he can struggle during games, but the not in fantasy. His rushing upside brings in the points. Brock Purdy A lot of 49ers WRs and RBs put up points. The person who throws the ball to CMC has to get ...

Kershaw Needs To Calm Down

Kershaw has an interesting season full of off the field issues. For some reason, people are treating Kershaw like he's retiring at the end of this season without any signs he's actually retiring. Because of this. Kershaw seems to getting a little too cocky and writing checks he can't cash. Let's break down his season so far. "Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw calls out 'bush league' Cardinals for playing home-run video before game"     This is when people started to take notice. No matter how good Kershaw has been in his career, his career will always be tainted due to his postseason stats. He has not been good in the postseason and everyone knows it. In my opinion, Kershaw could consider himself lucky that all the showed was the home run video. The Cardinals have multiple videos they could have showed from almost any postseason game he has pitched against the Redbirds. "Kershaw headed to 11th ASG, this time as 'Legend Pick'"     Th...

If You Say "Quad Bike" You Need To Re-Evaluate Your Life

I saw a news article recently about how someone was recently injured on a quad bike. I immediately thought "What's a quad bike? That sounds sick".  I decided to google it and I was very disappointed.     It turns out a quad bike is literally just an ATV. What would anyone call it a quad bike? I can tell you exactly the type of person that calls ATVs a quad bike. It's the type of person that thinks they are the coolest people on earth because of how different they are.      Allow me to describe this type of person because I happen to know a couple of them. This person is the type of person that does cross fit with terrible form and goes around telling everyone how cool he is because he does cross fit. This is the type of person to post random pictures of nothing on their Instagram stories.  An example of this would be if the person posted something random like a coffee table with the caption "The life we live is crazy" with a song n...

Old Man Take - I Hate Fireworks

As I slowly become an old man and the ripe age of 26 (almost 27), I am starting to see the world in an entire new light. Going to bed early and to specifically wake up early before everyone else? Freaking awesome. Watching the same TV shows on cable at specific times every night like family feud? Got to love it. Now that the 4th of July holiday has passed by, I now have a new take. I think fireworks aren't as cool as people think and if you light fireworks all night you're a loser.     First off, I would like to say that I don't completely disavow fireworks. My daughter really enjoy fireworks and my family loves to go to the professional firework displays. What my take really is if you buy fireworks on your own and light them all night you're a loser.      The first reason is because of the price. Fireworks are so expensive. People waste way too much money on buying them when usually your local county has their own professional display. I'm ...

It's Time For The Battlehawks To Move

What a headline. Well jokes on you guys. I tricked you all into an extra click for my blog. Yes, I think the Battlehawks should move, but they should stay in St. Louis. Everyone can calm down now.      Now let me just say I love the kakaw nation as much as the next guy, but I'm tired of seeing the upper sections of the dome empty. I honestly think it hurts the image of the Battlehawks as well. They consistently are bringing in the biggest crowds but the stadium always looks half empty.     I personally think the Battlehawks should move to the new soccer stadium and there are many reasons why. First off, the stadium is brand new. All of the amenities are brand new, locker rooms are still nice and shiny, and the stadium is just nicer in general.      Second, it would be sold out every home game. The soccer stadium only holds about 28,000 people. The average attendance of each Battlehawks game would be a sold out crowd every time...
