Shaq Is Right Lower The Net In The WNBA

I saw a clip online recently that the WNBA would be more successful if they would lower the nets. Shaquille O'Neal has publicly suggested that the WNBA should lower the rim height to encourage more dunking, arguing it would make the game more exciting and potentially increase viewership. He often cites the example of beach volleyball, where women's nets are slightly lower, as a model.     I agree with Shaq 100 percent. This could open up the WNBA to many other events like a dunk contest. So many more clips would go viral, brining in more viewers to the WNBA. Could you imagine how electric the Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark rivalry would be? It would be electric to see a clip of Reese dunking on Clark. I'm all in on lowering the nets.

The NFL Has A Expansion Problem

There has been some news coming out of the NFL, and it doesn't seem to be a good sign for the NFL's plan to expand to London. Tickets have not been selling this year. The “most interesting” game is probably the jags one… half the stadium hasn’t been sold and there isn’t even a queue to access it.     This is definitely a problem for the NFL. This season was probably the biggest test for a new London team. As tickets continue to not sell, you have to question if London is a viable place for expansion. Perhaps its truly time to put the London team rumors to rest. We have all heard this rumor for years. Apparently the Jags were tempted to try it, but now no longer seem interested because they just renovated their practice facility.      What will the NFL do from here. My guess is they will try the London experiment a little differently next year. My guess is tickets also might not be selling because there is a lot more international games this ...

Eugenio Suarez Needs To Sell His Soul

Eugenio Suarez is one of the most interesting players in all of baseball. A casual fan has probably never heard of him, but if he look at his numbers he should be a star. He has ten years of service time and currently had 311 career home runs. Why is he not a bigger star? Well the answer probably is he has never been on a playoff caliber team.           Suarez has been the talk of the hardcore MLB fans due to the fact that his contract is up at the end of season. Many people want him to go to a contending team and sign a cheaper deal, but I completely disagree. It's time for Suarez to sell his soul. Eugenio Suarez Should Sell His Soul And Sign With The Rockies     This is a take no one is talking about for some reason. It's time for everyone to wake up. Suarez is 34 with 311 home runs. Forget a championship, sign with the Rockies and get to 400 home runs. Getting to 400 home runs would get him to 59th on the all time home run l...

Does College Football Need A Salary Cap?

Deion Sanders was interviewed recently and said he believes that College Football should have a salary cap like the NFL. Colorado coach Deion Sanders is advocating for a salary cap in college football, noting that it would help even out the competitive landscape in a sport that is already becoming more like the NFL.     I disagree with this simply because it would never work. If you think about it, everyone used to have a salary cap of $0. Believe it or not, teams just worked around it and did some things in secret. Teams would just go back to that if a salary cap was implemented.      Would a salary cap make college football more even? Yes. Has college football ever been fair? No. That's just apart of college football.      The only thing college football needs to worry about are these big schools turning smaller schools into feeder schools. What if one day Georgia gives Georgia Tech a call and says "We will pay for everythin...

Javonte Williams Is The Next Big Fantasy Sleeper

The Cowboys have had an interesting training camp so far this year. They came into the season hoping for a running back committee just like every other team. A true heartbreaker for the fantasy football athletes out there. Things might change however according to the news coming out about camp. Former NFL Coach Says 'Rumblings' Out of Cowboys Are Jaydon Blue is 'Borderline Lazy'     This interesting news. Blue was supposed to be the next starting RB for them later in the season, but it appears things are changing. It appears that it's Williams' chance to break out and become a star.     People forget that Javonte was on pace to be a star in Denver. He was supposed to be in a "Kamara like role" in Denver before his injury. This is the first season he appears to finally be fully healthy and back to his original self.      With how low Javonte's draft stock has been this year, this might be the sleeper of the year. The best part is, n...

The Savannah Bananas Just Embarrassed The Cardinals

The Cardinals have had the worst start to a second half of the season that you could have. Not only has the manager come out and said that management and ownership are forcing him to trot out terrible starters, they also continue to lose on the road in Arizona. Unfortunately for the redbirds, noy many people noticed. Cardinals fans were too busy selling out Busch Stadium.     This weekend the Savannah Bananas were in town and they put on a show. The Harlem Globetrotters of baseball brought out Cardinals legends Adam Wainwright, Lance Lynn, and Jason  Isringhausen. Everyone seemed to have a great weekend, everyone except Cards ownership. They just got embarrassed.     The Cards ownership, the same ownership that for years has refused to spend money in free agency while at the same time telling fans to be quiet and watch, are watching another season fall apart. The manager has called them out in interviews due to them forcing him to continue t...

Fantasy Football Sleepers No One Is Talking About

Every year, there are multiple fantasy sleepers that I catch that no one is talked about before the season. Off the top of my head, I called Bo Nix, Ladd McConkey, and Tyrone Tracy to name a few. My strategy is actually pretty easy, but for some reason no one does it. Every year their is certain starters that everyone just forgets about because of things the starter can't control. For example, a workhorse RB with a bad offensive line or a a WR with uncertainty in the QB department. Everyone always looks past these people because it may not look like good football on TV, but they still put up points. Here is my list of fantasy football sleepers that no one is talking about so far. Quarterbacks   Bo Nix Nix is on my list yet again. People watch his games because he can struggle during games, but the not in fantasy. His rushing upside brings in the points. Brock Purdy A lot of 49ers WRs and RBs put up points. The person who throws the ball to CMC has to get ...
