Week 2 Recap / Week 3 Preview
This NFL season is starting to take shape. Good teams and bad teams are starting to separate themselves. Burrow is down for the count and the Chiefs season is officially over. Let's hurry up and start the week 2 recap before the Lions put up any more points on the Bears.
Before we begin, I would like to point out that I went 4-2 in picks this week. Because of this, I am officially announcing that the picks now count. It's also a sad day for the haters because it's only going to get easier to pick.
Yes, another great win by me here, but it's not what this matchup was about this week. Everyone currently reading this needs to take a moment of silence for Ryan's season. With Joe Burrow out for 3 months, it's now time to go into a full rebuild. All hope is lost.
Stephen's team had a rough week, but he should be able to bounce back. His team has the potential to bounce back from the 0-2 start if his players end up playing to the level that they're supposed to be playing at. Ryan 2 might have another championship team on his hands. He used to have a hole at the RB position, but due to injuries on the Vikings and depth chart changes on the Giants, that hole may have been fixed.
Here's the deal. I could tell you all the problems with this matchup. I could tell you about how one of Jack's 30 year old RBs landed on the IR, I could tell you that almost every one of Jack's players has a bad defensive matchup, but none of that matters. All of Joe's players are going to magically fail him and have a bad week. Jack's kicker will put up 35 points and he will win this week.
Another classic fraud game for Sam here. Without Joe Burrow, all Ryan can do is just sit there and watch as Sam's fraud team slips away with a victory. Speaking of Sam's team, his team name reminded me of something I saw on twitter. Have you seen Kennan Allen's shoulders? They're nuts because of his past injuries. If you google "Keenan Allen shoulder" it pops up take a look.
This should be a get right game for Stephen here. Alex has two big holes in his roster for this week. He is currently starting Tyrone Tracy, who appears to be in a committee now. Travis Hunter is also his other problem. If he plays more on defense, his offensive production will sink. Stephen should win this week, but he might have a tough hill to climb with his team. Garrett Wilson needs to prove himself for Stephen to be successful this year.
What a matchup here. Two of the best teams in the league going at each other. Because I just talked smack on Jared's team a second ago, it now appears that he is going to win this week. Ryan 2 has some tough matchups this week. Jared has a chance to make a statement here. Jared has 3 players that concern me. Breece Hall, Brian Thomas, and Marvin Harrison. All 3 haven't performed up to their caliber yet this year. Jared needs these players to be successful.
