The New Magic Logo Is Proof The NBA Is Turning European

For those of you that don't know, the Orlando Magic revealed their new logo. Now I can't show you because of copyright issues, but you are not missing much. It's basically just a circle. If I was an NBA fan and enjoyed watching the Association and purchasing their jersey's, I would be concerned and here's why.

I dove deeper after this logo change that was not needed, and I found what I believe is going to ruin the NBA. Is this a conspiracy? Yes, but I will take full credit for this when it happens. For the past 5 years, the NBA teams that have revealed their "new" logos have been basically the same but just a circle. This is because the NBA is forcing them to. This is where the conspiracy gets good. The NBA (worst commissioner is all of the US major sports leagues by the way) is forcing teams to change their logos to a circle because they are going to push for a jersey change to create ad revenue.

I will now try and show you an example. I can't show you real pictures, so please enjoy my google drawings.

This is what an NBA jersey currently looks like. Notice where the logo is and the ad placement.

This is exactly how an NBA jersey should look like. The logo on the chest, like it has been throughout history. My take is the NBA is going to change this, and not for the better. Because they are making everyone change to a circle logo, it looks like the NBA is switching to the terrible European model. Here is an example.

I present to you the NBA jersey of the future. Words can't describe how much I hate this. This also part of the reason I hate soccer. This absolutely destroys a jersey. I can picture it now. The year is 2028, the Indiana Pacers are in the finals, but instead it looks like their the Indiana Walmart's with a tiny Pacers logo on the side.
I think this is going to backfire on the NBA. Yes, they might get more money from advertisements, but they are going to lose a lot of money in merchandise sales. Who is going to want to buy a jersey with a huge Oracle logo on the front instead of the Warriors. Only time will tell, but I want all the credit when this happens.
