People Hate On Thursday Night Football For No Reason

     There's something I have to get off my chest. I'm so tired of people hating on Thursday Night Football. Every year you hear the same complaints.

"These games are boring."
"The TNF games are the worst ones."
"They put these two teams here for a reason."

    Well I'm here to tell you that those people are wrong. The Thursday night games are arguably the best games. It is the one of the most fun games to watch. First, let me show you the schedule this year.

You Can Watch At The Bar
    Remembering my college days, there was nothing better than the Thursday games. You could feel the excitement all day. It kicked off the weekend. Deciding what bar to watch the games at. "Buffalo Wild Wings has buy one get one wings, but it's thirsty Thursday at El Maguey." There was nothing better than watching your team squeak out a victory a pitcher of margarita deep. This is where quality of games come in, you don't have to fully pay attention to it. You can hangout at a bar and converse with friends without fully being locked in.

For Adults, It's The Biggest Stress Reliever
    Now as an adult, I've grown to love the Thursday games even more. You had a long day at work, you're tired. As the clock strikes closer to 5, you can feel your energy slowly come back. You text the wife "What kind of wings do you want I'm picking up wings on the way home", you don't give her a choice. Even as an adult, the Thursday game kicks off the weekend. No work really gets done on a Friday no matter how old you are. If you also have a 3 year old kid like me, you probably won't be able to fully watch the game. Good thing these games aren't great and you can just casually watch the game! There's nothing better than TNF. The NFL got this one right.
