I'm Officially Old (My Knee Hurts)

I hate to say it, but at the ripe age of 26 I would like to declare I am old. It all began around 3 years ago. As a matter of fact, it's about the same time I had a kid. One day, I woke up and me knee was in excruciating pain. I had no clue what I had did to it, I just assumed I slept in a weird position or something. The problem with that is my knee is that it didn't just go away in a day or two, it took MONTHS to recover. I was legit struggling to walk down stairs for a while there. Then one day I just woke up and the pain was gone. I thought the war was over. I was wrong.

Now once and a while my knee will hurt for about a day and then just magically go away. For months I didn't know why, then I had a Eureka moment. I am officially old. I have discovered that my knee hurts when it rains/storms. I am officially old. It makes sense though, there has been other signs. When I here the new slang I think it's dumb, I now think waking up early is better than staying up late, I like the noon football games better than the primetime games, etc.

I tell my story as a warning to people. It may be in your late 20s, it may be in your early to late 30s, but eventually everyone will have this feeling. Being old isn't all bad though. I might pick up an old man hobby like model trains or dive into war history or something who knows.
